Our first Math unit is on Patterns. The learning goals for this unit are to:
•Identify and copy patterns
•Create and extend patterns
•Talk about how a pattern repeats
•Solve problems with patterns
•Recreate (translate) the same pattern using different materials
You may check your child's knowledge of patterns by having them identify, copy, create, extend and translate patterns at home using a variety of materials.
