Friday was the 50th Day of School. We didn't get a chance to celebrate on Friday, but we knocked it out of the park today! We did so many fun things!! We talked about then (1950's) and now (2016) and compared the two times with pictures. We made a Counting Through to the 50th Day of School booklet. We wrote about what we might look like or what we might be doing when we are 50 years old. We talked about How to Make a Root Beer Float and wrote about it and even made our own root beer floats! They were delicious, of course! We played a new math game called Race to 50. Finally, we did a 50 second challenge where we rotated from station to station completing to see how many of each action we could complete in 50 seconds. Check out all the fantastic things we did... |
