Well our Christmas Concert and Gingerbread Man decorating went superbly! Just wanted to share our pictures with you before we all leave for the Holidays. If anyone has a video of our Christmas Concert, we would love it if you could pass it along so we could watch it. Thank you! I wish everyone a very Happy Holiday, a wonderfully, relaxing Christmas break and a Happy New Year! I'll see you all again on Wednesday, January 9th, 2013. :)

Christmis
I can’t way’t for christmis. Can you? My klas is making art. I thingk thay are doing good. Do you? I love santa. Maer christmis… do you? The end Well, we've been waiting since the beginning of December to get a look at the finished product of our Family Traditions projects and yesterday, we finally got to see them. They were very well done! Students were excited to share their Family Traditions with their classmates and my camera was ready to take lots of pictures! We started by taking turns presenting... Then, we got to share them close up... And here's a shot of each one even closer...Awesome Effort, Boys and Girls! As a Friday center, I introduced an activity that I like to call Eat Your Math. For this activity, students had to choose a number between 6 and 10 and think of as many possible combinations of that number that they could. After recording the number and the combinations, they had a chance to build their combinations with cheerios. Do you know what they got to do after that? You guessed it! They got to Eat Them! Check out our pictures below and let us know what you think of this activity... We've been really busy creating Christmas art lately, of course, in preparation for Christmas! Two of our Art projects have to be the most adorable ever! We recreated ourselves in both...one as an elf and one as a reindeer. Which project do you think is the most adorable? Also, which one do you think you might see as part of our Christmas Concert decorations?? Let us know in the comment section below... We apologize for our lack of blogging and tweeting as of late, but we've been extremely busy! However, we wanted to share some of the wonderful activities we've been doing the past few days, including our groups of 7. In Math, we have started a unit on Addition and Subtraction to 12. One math lesson was focused on building groups of 7 with 2 colours of squares. Check out our pictures below. Can you pick out the pictures with the patterns? Thank you very much to Blake and Qingtong for creating these beauties! :) Let us know what you think in the comment section...
